RePlay

South Dublin County Street Arts Festival

Parthalán Place, Tallaght

August 15 2026

10am - 6pm

free event

Our cities have long been places of spontaneous culture. Created, changed, reformed, remade. And often by youth culture that goes unsupported and unrecognised. Skaters turn pieces of architecture into places of play, graffiti artists turn walls into art, musicians without stages create their own platforms with busking and spoken word. Shouting words to meandering audiences.

RePlay is a celebration of this culture and set in South Dublin County Council’s brand new urban space ‘Parthalán Place’. A blank concrete canvas that will be transformed into a colourful, bustling hub of street culture; skaters, buskers, DJs, dancers, graffiti artists from across Ireland will convene for this first of a kind event in the heart of Tallaght’s artistic hubs.

RePlay will also play host to a ground breaking adapted sports showcase, detailing how urban spaces, and cities can look at infrastructure with inclusivity and access at its core.

The programme will run from 10am to 6pm and you can expect skate and BMX spectacles, Roller skating triumphs, outdoor carnival games, Live DJs, Street dance performances, rap cyphers and spoken word performances with lots of chances to try out the various street sports with our various workshop areas manned by professionals in the areas!

RePlay. It's time to play again.
