RePlay

South Dublin County Street Arts Festival

Parthalán Place, Tallaght

August 15 2026

10am - 6pm

free event

Our cities have always been shaped by spontaneous culture. Created, changed and reimagined by young people carving out spaces for expression. Skaters transform architecture into playgrounds, graffiti artists turn walls into canvases, and musicians create stages wherever crowds gather.

RePlay is a celebration of just that.

Taking place in South Dublin County Council’s brand new space, Parthalán Place, this first of its kind festival will transform the square into a vibrant hub of skateboarding, BMX, roller skating, street art, music, dance and performance.

Across the day you can expect skate and BMX showcases, roller skating displays, live DJs, rap cyphers, spoken word, street dance, outdoor games and workshops where everyone can try out street sports and creative activities alongside professionals.

Replay also has lots of fun activities for the younger audience including outdoor games, circus spectacle, face painting and many more surprises!

Full Programme announced in July.

RePlay. It's time to play again.

MUSIC

SHIV

shiv is a Zimbabwean Irish singer, songwriter, and producer whose soulful, introspective sound blurs the lines between R&B, neo-soul, and lo-fi textures. A former DJ turned artist, she’s known for her warm, honey-toned vocals and diaristic storytelling, music described as “rich in emotion and personal insight… showcasing the depth and evolution of her artistry” (GoldenPlec). A frequent resident of the airwaves, her work has been embraced by stations across Ireland and the UK including RTÉ 2FM and BBC Radio 1.

Born in Zimbabwe and raised in Ireland, shiv’s sound is shaped by her dual heritage, from harmonising with her mother as a child to riffing on 90s R&B in front of the mirror with her sister. After studying Psychology and planning a career in education, a song she wrote for her sister’s wedding unexpectedly changed her path. That video caught the attention of management, and what began as a hobby became a defining vocation.

In 2024, shiv released her debut album the defiance of a sadgirl, a self-written, self-produced, and independently released project created between Uganda and Ireland after departing from Warner Music. The album marks a turning point in her artistic journey, exploring self-love, loss, and rebirth through lush production and unfiltered vulnerability. It was described as “a dazzling collection of warm, soul songs, doused with elements of jazz, hip hop and R&B” (Record of the Day).

AUDREY LAWLESS

A music lover at heart; I started out on Pirate stations in the early 00s such as kiss Fm and Hot fm. I would call myself a selector and love to feed off a crowd.

My main love is hip hop reggae soul and RnB. I used to run nights with a few other DJs in Dublin such as Urban Central were we played a range of music across Hip hop, reggae dnb and Jungle. Also love to play at local exhibitions because I’m a lover of Art as well - there isn’t a blank wall in our house, I even have murals in my garden and kitchen area. So, playing at something that blends art music and dancing is right up my street.
