EXILE is a unique collaborative production, merging theatre and music to explore the extraordinary life of Fenian, poet, convict, journalist and orator John Boyle O'Reilly from Dowth County Meath. This exciting new work is written by Deirdre Kinahan and features some of Ireland’s greatest musicians. Deirdre Kinahan is acclaimed for shining a light on a somewhat forgotten or overlooked stories from history, giving us insight not only into what happened but the men and women themselves. In EXILE she joins with collaborators and musicians in exploring his radical soul, creating a moving elegy of spoken word, rhythm and rock.
