Sound of the Nation – Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2026
We had an incredible week at the Stripe Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition 2026, working in collaboration with RTÉ 2FM to deliver Sound of the Nation, a brand-new live activation bringing science, music, and broadcast together on the show floor.
This project saw Sofft Productions lead the delivery from end to end, covering concept development, spatial and stage design, technical build, staffing, scripting, lighting design, and full production management. Working closely with the RTÉ 2FM team throughout, we helped shape an activation that was both visually engaging and fully operational within a fast-paced live event environment.
A key focus of the project was creating a space that could function as both a broadcast studio and an interactive audience experience. From early creative development through to final on-site delivery, every element was carefully considered to ensure smooth integration with the wider exhibition while maintaining a strong on-air identity for RTÉ 2FM.
In addition to delivering Sound of the Nation, we were also responsible for production managing RTÉ’s wider presence across the exhibition weekend. This included overseeing the full studio build, coordinating technical requirements, and supporting the ongoing operation of both the main studio and associated activations. Ensuring everything ran seamlessly in a busy live environment required close collaboration across all teams on the ground.
It was a real privilege to work alongside the exceptional RTÉ 2FM team, as well as the wider exhibition production crews, in delivering such a dynamic and high-energy broadcast environment. Projects like this thrive on collaboration, precision, and adaptability, and we’re proud to have played a part in bringing it all together.
