replay Mural call out
a brand new mural commission created for south dublin street arts festival
Calling all mural artists and creative collectives. We’re looking for YOU to design and deliver a large-scale mural at Parthalán Place, Tallaght as part of RePlay, a brand new Street Arts Festival, coming August 15th 2026.
We want bold, vibrant proposals inspired by youth culture and street expression such as skateboarding, BMX, rollerskating, music, dance and movement.
SoFFt Productions will design and build the bespoke structure. Your role is to bring it to life visually, creating a design that will be applied to the structure ahead of the festival and showcased on the day.
Project Overview
The selected artist will design and produce a mural to be applied to modular structures, consisting of a series of wooden panels of varying sizes. The main piece will be 8m² to 10m², mounted on a steel frame. Additional artwork will extend across other festival areas eg. skate ramps.
We are interested in collaborating with the chosen artist throughout the build process to create the mural structure, with the aim of reusing the structure for future events. We encourage proposals that play with form and dimension.
Open to Ireland-based mural artists and collectives with experience in large-scale public work.
To apply, please submit the following in ONE PDF:
• Artist CV
• Portfolio (max 5 images)
• Short proposal (max 200 words) outlining your concept and approach
